How do I create a trip?
Open the Trips tab, tap the + button, enter your trip name, destination, and dates. Your trip is created with a cover photo automatically matched to your destination.
How do I invite friends to my trip?
From the trip detail screen, tap Share. You can share via QR code, invite link, or a 6-character invite code that friends enter manually.
How does expense splitting work?
When adding an expense, toggle the Split option to divide costs. You can split equally, by exact amount, or by percentage. The app calculates who owes whom automatically.
What currencies are supported?
Hello supports 170+ currencies with live exchange rates updated daily. You can set your preferred display currency in your profile settings.
How do I import an itinerary?
From a trip's detail screen, tap the + button and select Import Expenses. Upload a PDF or photo of your itinerary and our AI will extract the schedule and expenses.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Row Level Security policies so you can only access your own data. We never sell your personal data.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account > Data & Privacy > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data. Account deletion cannot be undone.
How do I change the app language?
Go to Account and tap the language option. Hello currently supports English and Simplified Chinese (简体中文).
